One thing I really appreciate is that it's rechargeable. You don't have to waste time with batteries or get stuck near a power outlet, which makes it much more convenient.
This thing has a crazy power surge. My husband complained that it was too bright for the night, so I unplugged it thinking the bathroom would be dark; it wasn’t. That was last night. Tonight it’s still on.
I gave this to a coworker for her birthday and she loves it. She said her husband really likes it too. Different color options and a nice calming and relaxing effect.
I bought it for my dad to help with issues related to cognitive decline. It's very nice, both in shape and in the lights. You can choose various colors to project onto the ceiling, and they give enough light for those who don't want to be in complete darkness. The ceiling lights are relaxing, they look like waves. Obviously, color choice is subjective, but for people with dementia, a soft blue is recommended to relax and avoid other cognitive issues. It works well both with the USB plug and without it (I leave it connected, so I can't estimate the battery life, but I think it will last at least a full night).
I couldn’t like the purchase more. I have it in the bathroom so I don’t have to turn on the regular light. It charges easily with USB, which prevents having cables all over the place. I would buy it again without thinking twice. The lights are pretty and you can hide them between blue, green, red, and white…
Love it. It definitely sets the mood, and being able to change the color from one room to another is awesome.
The adjustable brightness allows it to work as a good night light. The built-in battery helps ease the worry of having it plugged in while a child sleeps nearby, but still, a basic cellphone charger can power it without any problem.
This is the coolest little light. First of all, I didn’t know it’s rechargeable and not just plugged in you can take it anywhere without needing to find an outlet, it’s super handy! It projects a light on the ceiling that makes it look like you’re underwater or just watching the ocean waves, you can enjoy it either way.
So beautiful! Love the effect it adds to the room with the lights and the different color options available. My only complaint is that it can be hard to see the light unless the room is completely dark, and any other lamp will overpower the projector. Overall, very easy to use and setup.
I just got this so first impressions only. I ordered this for my own bedroom, not a kids room, because I thought it would be nice to have in the room while relaxing, watching tv, or during other times. I thought it would also work as a kind of night light when one partner goes to sleep before the other and it’s gives off just enough light to be able to get around without being too bright for the other not to be able to sleep. It works really well for all of that. So far I’m very happy with it. It’s a warm light and the moment is actually very calming, not fast or choppy. I like that you can change the color. You can’t adjust the brightness though. That’s no big deal for me since I think it just fine, not too bright at all. Good value too.
I've used it on and off for a couple weeks now and haven't needed to recharge, so I don't know exactly how long a charge lasts but it does appear that it holds a decent amount of charge.
The color selections are great - I like that I can shift to something peaceful before bed. The movement is slow and peaceful, which is also a great wind-down feature. I do wish the "ripple" effect of the lights was a little more pronounced, but being able to dim the light is a nice feature so it all comes out in the wash.
It has a very soft little hum to it, which is easy to ignore, but kind of nice and soothing if you're using the light in the evening before bed. Very quiet, you may not even notice it. I have mine on my nightstand which is how I was close enough to hear it.

I got this for my daughter’s room for her nightlight and she loves it! She calls it her mermaid shell, she loves the versatility of picking a different color every night. It’ll last most of the night (8:30-4ish) but we also started keeping it plugged in since the timed shut off seemed to wake her up. Stunning color options that transform the whole room, makes me want one too!!
My daughter and I love this thing originally for it for her cozy corner cave but now we use it before we go to bed. It's very beautiful and relaxing. It lasts all night and you can charge it while using it which is very convenient at times. Multiple colors to choose from mostly blues and greens but sometimes mixed with other colors.
